After a rigorous application process with multiple rounds of question and answer processes, the Minneapolis Community Clay Courts was awarded a USTA Tennis Venue Services grant of $70,000 to build the courts at Creekside.  Adding that commitment to the $93,000 raised in 2024, we now have $163,000 raised for the $300,000 project.  

Our next step is to work with the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board, who signed a Memo of Understanding with the MCCC in 2024 to seek funding for the project, in preparing an application to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners for a Hennepin Youth Activities Grant.  MPRB Commissioners will vote in August on which projects to submit to the HCBC for consideration, so contact your MPRB Commissioner and urge them to support the clay courts at Creekside!
